The Quincy School Community Partnership’s 16th annual ‘Tis the Season…Symphony and Song, was held in Quincy High School’s Lloyd Hill Performing Arts Center on Thursday, December 1, 2016.  This magical holiday concert, featuring the Quincy Symphony Orchestra, Quincy Public Schools John Adams Orchestra and the Combined High School Choral Group, ushered in the holiday season to a sold out crowd. The Christmas sing-along was once again   a highlight of the evening.   This year, ‘Tis the Season…Symphony and Song, was again sponsored by Granite City Electric Supply Company ~ a dedicated and generous Platinum Level Sponsor of the Quincy School ~ Community Partnership.  Granite City Electric contributes to Quincy Public Schools in a variety of ways including financial support, scholarships for students, as well as internships, job shadowing and employment opportunities for our high school students.  We sincerely thank Phyllis Godwin, President and CEO for her commitment and dedication to Quincy Public Schools.

In addition to Granite City Electric, special thanks to the following Quincy School Community Partners who generously donated approximately 250 tickets to ‘Tis the Season, allowing so many Quincy Public Schools students to attend!
