The Quincy School ~ Community Partnership is pleased to report that approximately 3,000 backpacks, with school supplies, were once again donated to Quincy Public Schools elementary students, thanks to the generosity of community business partners. Backpack supplies included pens, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, erasers, two- pocket folders and notebooks.
Special thanks to the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts “Blue Team” who tirelessly filled 2,000 backpacks with school supplies at their Hingham location, for the students of Quincy Public Schools. Backpacks and supplies were donated by Cradles to Crayons. Backpacks were delivered to schools on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Principals, School Committee members, members of the Superintendent’s Leadership Team and Community Partners distributed backpacks to students at the annual Backpack Distribution Event, which was held on Thursday, September 5, 2024.
