Brewster Ambulance, in collaboration with Quincy Public Schools and the Quincy School Community Partnership, provided CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) training to approximately 690 eighth grade students across the city during the week of January 30, 2017 through February 2, 2017. Training was held in each of Quincy’s five Middle Schools by licensed Brewster Ambulance Service staff. In preparation of this life-saving event, eighth grade students learned about heart health, heart disease, cardiac arrest, etc. in their middle school Health classes. At the conclusion of the week, all parents and students were invited to participate in a CPR/AED full certification class, free of charge. This event was held at Central Middle School on February 3, 2017. In total, 118 participants were certified. The Quincy School ~ Community Partnership would like to thank Brewster Ambulance for its continued generosity and support!
