November 2, 2017
The Quincy School Community Partnership’s 17th annual Mini-Grant Awards Ceremony was held on November 2, 2017 at the Neighborhood Club. This event, which celebrates and honors Quincy Public Schools teachers, is possible because of the generosity and support of our community business partners. This year, approximately 85 mini-grant proposals, written by 161 teachers, received funding. To date, our business partners have donated over $356,000 in mini-grant funds. Special thanks to Attorney George Burke, Quincy Education Association, Quincy Retired Teachers Association, Boston Scientific, Quincy Credit Union, Quincy College, Callahan Construction, Granite Telecommunications, Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA, National Association of Government Employees (NAGE), Bank of Canton, Quincy Mutual Fire Insurance Agency, Wessling Architects, General Dynamics/Bluefin Robotics, Brewster Ambulance, Mass Bay Credit Union, and the Neighborhood Club.
