The New Professional Staff Orientation was held on Wednesday, August 30, 2024 and Thursday, August 31, 2024. Special thanks to the Quincy School ~ Community Partnership members who continued their commitment and support of this annual event. Approximately 60 new teachers participated in the 2 day Orientation and were welcomed by Mayor Thomas P. Koch and Vice Chair of the Quincy School Committee Tina Cahill, as well as Superintendent Kevin Mulvey. Throughout the Orientation, new teachers learned about QPS Expectations and Responsibilities, Student Support Services, Literacy and ELA, Special Education, Health Services, Technology Planning, Security and Transportation, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Curriculum, English Learner Education, Academic Programs, Math Curriculum K-8, as well as the 2024-2025 Mentoring Program.
